Ah, what information to reveal about myself...
I currently live in Newbury Park, California, located about 50 miles northwest of Los Angeles. I'm divorced and have two children, a 11 year-old daughter and 8 year-old boy. They both live with me full-time during the school year and with their mom during the summer. I grew-up here in Southern California and love it. There is everything to do out here; the beach, canyons and moutains and desert, skiing in the winter, camping, SCUBA diving, nice roads and weather for motorcycle riding...not that I actually get around to doing even 1/2 that stuff though!
I spent my youth in the San Fernando Valley…Canoga Park specifically, and in late ’84 I moved into the Conejo Valley area. My schools have included Fullbright Elementary, Sutter Jr. High, and Cleveland High School (class of '84). I’ve also attended classes at Moorpark, Oxnard and Pierce Colleges, majoring in Fire Technology.
Currently, I work for Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA, primarily responsible for administrating the e-mail service. (No, I don't read every message!!!)
In November of 1988 I enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve and received training as a Medical Specialist; a Medic. In December of 1990 I was activated with my Reserve Unit, the 6252nd United States Army Hospital in Ventura, in support of Desert Shield. The majority of the unit served at Ft. Ord, CA maintaining the base hospital, Silas B. Hayes Army Hospital. Some members of the unit where sent to Saudi Arabia in support of other units.
